Conclave 2017

59th Conclave

Our biennial convention is called Conclave and is held every other year. Conclave is a great celebration of brotherhood, where Tekes from all over the world come together for three days to select the leadership of the Fraternity, vote on changes to the governing rules and policies, recognize our best and brightest Fraters and Chapters, participate in intense leadership development, and build friendships.

Epsilon Kappa at Conclave

I’m very pleased to report that Epsilon Kappa experienced another incredible year at Conclave. Being recognized as a Top TKE Chapter for the second consecutive year while having Frater Nick Kimble receive Top Teke and Frater Rich Kurtyka receive Top Volunteer are all amazing accomplishments. This success truly speaks to the collective effort put forth by our entire brotherhood throughout the past year. We look forward to returning to campus for the fall semester, and with it the opportunity to vie for a third consecutive Top TKE Chapter award.

Fraters, I Love This Fraternity!

Top TKE Chapter

The Top TKE Chapter award is presented to a select few chapters each year. These chapters are recognized for their efficient operation as TKE Chapters. This award is based upon excellent work in Recruitment, Involvement, and Achievement.

The Epsilon Kappa Chapter is proud to have earned Top TKE for the 2nd consecutive year!

Top Teke

The award for Top Teke is presented to a senior or graduate student for outstanding performance as a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon. The recipient of this award must exemplify TKE's ideals of Scholarship, Character, Leadership, Teamwork, Service, and Brotherhood.

Epsilon Kappa is proud to congratulate Frater Nick Kimble for earning the Top Teke award this year.

Top Volunteer

The Top Volunteer award is presented to a handful of individuals selected in recognition of their service and commitment to TKE and it's mission is to aid men in their mental, moral and social development for life.

Epsilon Kappa is excited to congratulate Rich Kurtyka for earning the Top Volunteer award.

The Epsilon-Kappa Chapter of Tau Kappa Epsilon at Loyola University Chicago was installed as a chapter on May 12, 1956.

Since 1899, Tau Kappa Epsilon has never had an exclusionary clause for membership. TKE does not judge men on their wealth, rank or honor, but instead on their personal worth and character.

Our mission is to "to aid men in their mental, moral, and social development for life." In essence, we build Better Men for a Better World.
